First lady Melania Trump celebrated the arrival of the White House Christmas tree as two Clydesdale horses pulled the Fraser fir into the driveway.
“Today I welcomed the arrival of the beautiful @WhiteHouse Christmas Tree! We are excited to begin decorating the People’s House for the holiday season! #WHChristmas,” Trump tweeted on Monday, accompanied by photos of the tree.

“Merry Christmas,” the first lady, who sported a noticeably more blonde look while wearing a Balenciaga coat, black gloves, and high-heeled boots, told reporters during the event.
Two Clydesdales were seen pulling the tree on a carriage as a military band played “O Tannenbaum” and “Hark the Herald Angels Sing.”
The tree stands over 18 feet tall and comes from a farm in West Virginia.
