President Trump would be open to answering “narrow questions” that special counsel Robert Mueller might have regarding allegations of Russian collusion with his 2016 campaign, Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani said Monday.
Giuliani added that Trump’s legal team has yet to make a final decision.
“If they have some narrow questions about collusion, where they are confused about: ‘did he find something,’ ‘did he know something,’ ‘did he talk to anyone?’ We would be happy to give them answers to that, as long as we knew they were concluding [the investigation],” Giuliani told “Fox & Friends” Monday morning.
Giuliani said Mueller has not shown any evidence or facts that Trump was involved in any collusion or coordination with Moscow during his 2016 presidential campaign.
“You show us something, we have something to answer you,” Giuliani said, claiming there was no explanation of a basis for the investigation. “Otherwise you’re conducting a totally illegitimate investigation. And I think a lot of people have come to that conclusion.”
