Trump says ‘change’ immigration court system for ‘good of the country’: ‘Maybe I’ll have to put’ my sister ‘at the border’

President Trump said during an interview aired on “Fox and Friends” Thursday that he wants to “change” the way the immigration court system operates.

“You need more judges,” host Brian Kilmeade first posed to the president. “Your sister is a judge. She knows how tough it is.”

“Maybe I’ll have to put her at the border,” Trump joked in response.

“Think of it. We’re the only country essentially that has judges. They want to hire thousands of judges. Other countries have security people, who stand there and say, you can’t come in. We have thousands of judges,” he continued, “The whole system is corrupt. It’s horrible”

Whoever heard of a system where you need trials?” Trump maintained. “It’s ridiculous. We’re going to change the system for the good of the country.”
