Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy, Conn., said Thursday that the New York Times anonymous op-ed from a senior Trump administration official might end up making President Trump more paranoid.
“I’m not sure how [the NYT op-ed] actually solves the problem that this person is identifying,” Murphy told CNN Thursday morning. “Frankly if you’re concerned about the stability of the president and the stability of the nation, I’m not sure why you would prick him in the side, make him even more paranoid, and end up perhaps having a purge inside the White House.”

Murphy said that the author from the Wednesday article seems more like someone who is trying to protect the job interests of those working for the Trump administration that still want to work in Washington post-Trump presidency.
“I’m not celebrating the authorship of this piece,” Murphy said.
Trump lashed out at the “fake news media” Thursday morning, which he claims is a vehicle for the “deep state.”
He also said that the media is “going crazy” and doesn’t know what to do considering his “historic” accomplishments as president.
The Deep State and the Left, and their vehicle, the Fake News Media, are going Crazy – & they don’t know what to do. The Economy is booming like never before, Jobs are at Historic Highs, soon TWO Supreme Court Justices & maybe Declassification to find Additional Corruption. Wow!
