An adult film star who claimed she had an affair with President Trump in 2006 said during one of their rendezvous she discovered his extreme dislike of sharks.
Stephanie Clifford, whose stage name is Stormy Daniels, said in a 2011 interview with InTouch magazine published online Friday that Trump would never donate to a charity that benefits sharks because he is “terrified” of the animal.
“You could see the television from the little dining room table and he was watching Shark Week and he was watching a special about the U.S.S. something and it sank and it was like the worst shark attack in history. He is obsessed with sharks. Terrified of sharks,” she said.
“He was like, ‘I donate to all these charities and I would never donate to any charity that helps sharks. I hope all the sharks die.’ He was like riveted. He was like obsessed. It’s so strange, I know,” Clifford continued.

In several tweets in 2013, Trump expressed his disdain for sharks.

Clifford told the magazine in the 2011 interview that she had an affair with Trump after he married Melania Trump.
It’s not clear why InTouch chose not to publish the interview until this week. Clifford was pushed into the spotlight after the Wall Street Journal reported last week that a lawyer for Trump arranged a $130,000 payment to Clifford just weeks before the 2016 presidential election to stay quiet about the affair.
Trump has denied the affair happened.
