President Trump is heading to his Florida resort Mar-a-Lago later this week for the holidays.
Trump and his family are expected to spend at least two weeks at the resort, which he refers to as the Southern White House, according to the Palm Beach Post.
The president was supposed to spend 16 days there last Christmas but canceled those plans because of a partial government shutdown. Instead, first lady Melania Trump and their 13-year-old son Barron kept their tradition of spending Christmas at Mar-a-Lago while the president stayed at the White House. Trump and his wife then made a surprise visit to Iraq a day after Christmas to visit U.S. troops.
Trump spent his 2017 Christmas holiday at Mar-a-Lago, staying there for 12 days before returning to Washington, D.C.
The White House has not yet confirmed the exact dates of his 2019 trip.
