An El Salvador native-turned-illegal immigrant was taken into custody again last month in Colorado after a mother and her son died in a drunken driving collision, authorities said.

The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Jose Guadalupe Menjivar-Alas, had been deported at least four times before he was arrested by the Broomfield Police Department on Dec. 15, according to a Monday report.
