Actor Alfonso Ribeiro will be Dancing with the Stars’s newest co-host for its 31st season, alongside model Tyra Banks.

Ribeiro previously hosted America’s Funniest Home Videos, a family-friendly compilation show of home videos. He replaced previous longtime host Tom Bergeron in 2015.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor also had experience on Dancing with the Stars as a contestant in 2014 and won the Mirrorball Trophy after demonstrating his classic “Carlton dance” alongside professional dancer Witney Carson. Banks was not the host at the time, but the two share an acting background, and Banks’s breakout role was on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as well.

“For me to be asked now to co-host with Tyra, and be part of the great crew and dancers and friends … to be able to be on stage with them and to be part of that family again, is quite special for me,” Ribeiro said. “I mean, these dancers are friends of mine at this point now. We really do all hang out together, and talk outside of that show.”

Ribeiro is also fresh off competing at the American Century Celebrity Championship golf tournament in Lake Tahoe over the weekend. He previously golfed competitively at the Tournament of Champions LPGA golf tournament in January.
