Cabrini, a film based on the true story of Catholic missionary Francesca Cabrini, is projected to earn $7.5 million at the domestic box office this weekend, marking another feather in the hat of Angel Studios.
The film, which was released to 2,840 screens across North America, has been well received by both critics and audiences, earning a 90% rating from movie review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes and an “A” rating from audiences, according to CinemaScore. The release of the film comes as Angel Studios has become a more recognized studio in Hollywood, with its biggest film, Sound of Freedom, releasing just last year.
