LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Spirits maker Brown-Forman Corp. is returning to its roots to build a distillery to produce Old Forester bourbon, its founding brand.
The company revealed its plans Thursday to invest about $30 million to transform two historic buildings into the production facility and tourist attraction along a stretch of downtown Louisville that was known as “Whiskey Row” from the city’s liquor-making heyday.
