The View hosts supported the announcement of a CNN debate on June 27 between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, which allowed the demands from the Democratic presidential candidate to have no audience and the cutting of mics.

“Here’s what I really appreciate: Biden is saying, no audience. And that the mics must be cut once the time to answer the question has expired,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg said on Wednesday morning. “I think it’s fair.”
