NPR CEO has no ‘credibility’ following non-partisan claims: Joe Concha

The Washington Examiner’s Joe Concha chided National Public Radio CEO Katherine Maher for claiming that her organization is nonpartisan, suggesting that one should take her words with “a grain of salt.”

President Donald Trump signed an executive order last week to cut federal funding for NPR and the Public Broadcasting Service, condemning both outlets for “biased” coverage. Concha argued that Maher’s recent comments regarding NPR being “an independent newsroom” fly in the face of her deeming Trump “a deranged racist sociopath.” He also noted that she claimed it was “hard to be mad” at the riots that took place during the George Floyd protests in 2020.
