WATCH: Trump mocks Joe Biden after teeing off at controversial Saudi-backed LIV Golf event

Former President Donald Trump took a swing at President Joe Biden while golfing on Thursday, a move that has been par for the course since leaving the White House.

Trump took a dig at his successor at the LIV Golf event in Doral, Florida, as he swung at a golf ball, eliciting a few “good ball” lines from the onlookers.

“Do you think Biden could do that?” Trump asked, sporting a “Make America Great Again” hat. “I don’t think so, I don’t think so.”

While at the golf course, Trump was asked by a reporter what he thought of LIV Golf, the golf tour financially backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, according to Reuters.

“Very good,” Trump said. “It’s doing great. I mean, it’s doing great. Unlimited money.”

LIV Golf, which is trying to compete against the PGA Tour, has been controversial since entering the world of U.S. golf, as many families of 9/11 victims have criticized it for receiving financial backing from Saudi Arabia, where many of the 9/11 hijackers were from, according to Reuters. In addition to hosting the LIV Golf event at Doral, Trump hosted an LIV event at his resort in Bedminster, New Jersey, over the summer.

Trump, who lost the 2020 presidential election to Biden, has not announced whether he will run for president again in 2024, though he has hinted at a run several times since leaving the White House. Ahead of the 2022 midterm elections, Trump has been active in campaigning for GOP candidates and attending their rallies.

While Biden has not declared a reelection bid, the White House has been adamant that the president intends to run for reelection in 2024. On Oct. 11, Biden said he will not make a decision about whether to seek a second term until after the midterm elections are over.
