White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said it is “indisputable” President Trump’s actions concerning nuclear-armed North Korea and the Islamic State have made a greater impact than the Obama administration.
“It’s indisputable that President @realDonaldTrump has done more to isolate North Korea & defeat ISIS in 8 months than Obama did in 8 years,” she tweeted Monday night.
Additionally, she included a statement from Vice President Mike Pence.
North Korea isolated. ISIS on the run. This administration will never appease our enemies or apologize for Americapic.twitter.com/ZMrlVsMVRV

“While critics engage in empty rhetoric and baseless attacks, under the President’s leadership, ISIS is on the run; North Korea is isolated like never before; and our NATO allies are doing more to pay for their fair share for our common defense,” Pence said in the statement.
Trump echoed similar sentiments last month about the administration’s accomplishments tackling ISIS.
“We have made more progress in the last nine months against ISIS than the Obama Administration has made in 8 years. Must be proactive & nasty!” he tweeted following the ISIS-related terrorist attack at a London train station.
