Hunter Biden pushed a false conspiracy theory that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein introduced first lady Melania Trump to her future husband, citing a false claim shared by The Daily Beast last month.

Biden sat down for a follow-up interview with Andrew Callaghan on his web series Channel 5 that was released Tuesday. In this clip, he discussed the current Epstein backlash the administration is facing, saying it is “beyond a doubt” that President Donald Trump and Epstein were “very close friends.” Biden asked, “What’s going on there?” and said the two “knew each other well.”
