Ban: Syria will top UN General Assembly agenda

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon says the Syrian crisis will top the agenda of the General Assembly gathering of world leaders next week.

Ban lamented that both sides seem determined to end the conflict by force and said diplomatic efforts must continue.
