LeBron James won’t stay at Trump hotel with Cavaliers during NYC game

LeBron James is among a group of Cleveland Cavaliers players who are refusing to stay at the Trump SoHo hotel in Manhattan when the team plays the New York Knicks this week.

ESPN reported late Monday that other members of the reigning NBA champion would be staying at the hotel because of a contract with the establishment.

James endorsed and campaigned with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton near the end of the presidential campaign.

At least three other teams — the Milwaukee Bucks, Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks — are halting relations with Trump-branded hotels this season, according to ESPN.
