Simply stated, Kathy Griffin is very much looking forward to performing in Washington this weekend.

“Are you kidding? This is a dream for me to be in D.C. three weeks before the election,” Griffin said. “I love D.C. as a comedy city. It is a dream comedy city. You’ve got smart people, you’ve got gay people, you’ve got soccer moms that are also super-smart and have great jobs. It is a comedy city dream truly because as a comedian that’s what you want. You want people that really have seen it all, and congratulations, in your city, there’s nothing they haven’t seen.”
