President Trump on Tuesday said news reports of discord among officials in his administration are false and everyone is on the same page.
“Don’t let the FAKE NEWS tell you that there is big infighting in the Trump Admin. We are getting along great, and getting major things done!” Trump tweeted.

Almost since the day Trump came into the White House there have been reports that officials within the administration have been at each other’s throats. Details of White House meetings have leaked on a regular basis and a Washington Post report published Sunday detailing infighting and drama in the White House had 17 unnamed sources.
Trump has hit back at the reports previously, calling his administration a “fine-tuned machine,” and officials such as Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist Steve Bannon have publicly spoken about the strength of their relationship. However, reports that Priebus is in over his head and that White House staffers are unhappy with his leadership style persist.
Other reports indicate Trump’s attitude swings back and forth depending on what he sees on cable news and whether his surrogates are defending him forcefully enough during interviews.
There has also been some reported apprehension in the White House over the president’s tweets about alleged wiretapping of Trump Tower he says were ordered by President Obama. Anonymous officials told reporters on Monday that the White House was caught off guard by Trump’s tweets on Saturday making the allegation and were not happy about having to reverse engineer explanations and find proof.
