CHICAGO (AP) — A Cook County Jail inmate has been charged in connection with his alleged involvement in a murder for hire plot.
Sheriff’s Department officials say 29-year-old Everardo Salinas was charged July 2 with solicitation of murder after an undercover investigation found he had been looking to hire someone to kill a 15-year-old victim he had been charged with sexually assaulting in 2013.
