MARYVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tourism officials in Blount County are expanding efforts to lure more travelers in 2013.
The Blount Partnership says its new director of tourism, Tami Vater, and the Smoky Mountain Tourism Development Authority plan to conduct media tours and to continue to promote the area to increase travel and overnight stays in the community.
