BROWNSVILLE, Texas (AP) — A 220-pound black bear named Oscar has been recaptured after climbing out of his South Texas zoo exhibit and slipping into a pool with some seals.
An official with the Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville on Tuesday said Oscar will remain out of public view, in his sleeping quarters, until repairs are made to the bear grotto.
