FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — German chemical and oil company BASF SE warned on growing global economic risks and a slowdown in China as it reported a 15.5 percent drop in second-quarter net earnings..
BASF said Thursday that it earned €1.23 billion ($1.49 billion) in the April-June quarter, down from €1.45 billion a year earlier. Revenue climbed 5.5 percent to €19.48 billion from €18.46 billion.
