Trump fires back at Snoop Dogg over music video

President Trump took a swing at rapper Snoop Dogg for making a music video where the artist fired a prop gun at a clown dressed as the president.

“Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!” Trump tweeted Wednesday.

In the video for the song, “Lavender (Nightfall Remix),” Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, aims a gun at “Ronald Klump” and pulls the trigger, firing a flag that says “Bang!” on it.

“Klump” is shown speaking from “The Clown House” and a news graphic on the screen states he wants to “deport all doggs.”

Trump also used Twitter to tout his trip to Michigan, where he will be speaking about rolling back EPA rules meant to increase fuel efficiency. The auto industry had previously argued they were unfair.

“Will be going to Detroit, Michigan (love), today for a big meeting on bringing back car production to State & U.S. Already happening!” Trump tweeted.

He also said his rally in Nashville, which is listed as a campaign rally, would be large.

“Looking forward to a big rally in Nashville, Tennessee, tonight. Big crowd of great people expected. Will be fun!” Trump tweeted.
