Joy Behar: I would trade my job for the climate regulations Trump repealed

The View host Joy Behar clashed with outgoing Rep. Sean Duffy over whether President Trump was destroying the environment.

“Don’t you worry about the environment? He’s terrible on the environment. I would think that alone could turn you against him,” Behar told the Wisconsin Republican during a Monday interview on the show.

“The regulations that you want to implement isn’t going to cost you your job,” Duffy responded.

“I would gladly give up my job if I could have a magic wand to make it all go back to what it was,” Behar said, referring to reimplementing regulations Trump had rolled back.

Duffy, 47, and his wife and former guest co-host, Rachel Campos-Duffy, came on the show to talk about his departure from Congress, spurred on by the upcoming birth of a child with a heart condition. The congressman, who has been in Congress since 2011, will be leaving office on Sept. 23.

Trump has rolled back dozens of environmental regulations on business during his term. Recently, the administration has been in a fight with California over the state’s ability to set air pollution standards on the auto industry.
