LANSING, Mich. (AP) — The Michigan Senate has passed bills that allow the creation of an authority for public transportation in the Detroit area.
The Southeast Michigan Regional Transportation Authority Act would establish the transit authority for Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.
