Trump to make Fox & Friends appearance on Election Day like he did in 2016

President Trump will do an interview with Fox News’s Fox & Friends on the morning of Election Day.

Co-hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade will interview the president about the election, the coronavirus pandemic, and other topics, according to a statement from the network.

Trump also did an interview on the morning of the election with the program in 2016.

The Trump campaign told reporters during a Monday afternoon phone call that the president and the first lady would be doing local radio and television interviews throughout the entire day.

The president has spent the weekend at numerous rallies in states where he needs to shore up support. His travel schedule for Tuesday is unclear.

The campaign’s director of battleground strategy, Nick Trainer, said during the Monday call, “If we make some in-person appearances in some swing states, we’ll be announcing that in the near term.”
