Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly may be returning to cable news, according to a new report.
O’Reilly, who was ousted from Fox News in 2017 amid sexual misconduct allegations, is discussing an arrangement to take an 8 p.m. slot with Newsmax TV, Page Six reports.
Newsmax has been in contact with other ex-Fox News anchors, including Greta Van Susteren, per a Newsmax insider.
“The deals are not done yet, but talks are in the advanced stages, certainly with O’Reilly,” the source told Page Six.
Since leaving Fox News, O’Reilly has devoted time to writing books and hosting his “No Spin News” show on his website.
Newsmax Media, which operates Newsmax TV, was founded by Christopher Ruddy, a noted ally of President Trump.
