Trump: Obama more angry at me than the Orlando shooter

Donald Trump accused President Obama of being more upset with Trump himself than the Orlando shooter who killed 49 people at a gay bar Sunday morning.

“I watched President Obama today, and he was more angry at me than he was the shooter, and many people said that,” Trump said in North Carolina.

“One of the folks on television said, ‘boy has Trump gotten under his skin.’ But he was more angry … the level of anger, that’s the kind of anger he should have for the shooter and these killers that shouldn’t be here,” Trump added to cheers.

Obama delivered a sometimes testy response on Tuesday to Trump and other Republicans who have said Obama needs to identify the source of terrorist attacks as “radical Islam.” But Obama rejected that advice, and said calling it that wouldn’t change anything.

He also took a few jabs at Trump for taking to Twitter to complain that Obama has failed to step the flow of Muslim immigrants.

That kind of yapping,” and the mindset that says scoring political points is the main objective, is dangerous, Obama said.
