President Trump on Monday donated his first-quarter salary totaling more than $78,000 to the National Park Service.
Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke accepted a check in front of reporters in the White House briefing room.

Trump, a billionaire, has said he will donate all of his earnings as president, but had not previously indicated where he would direct the funds.
Zinke later tweeted out a copy of the check image, made in the amount of $78,333.32 and bearing the president’s signature.

Spicer suggested previously that he would allow members of the White House press corps choose the charity.
