WALDORF, Md. (AP) — A toddler has been struck by a car in Charles County and was seriously injured.
The Charles County Sheriff’s Office says the toddler was struck Sunday afternoon in the area of Lyles Place and Middletown Road in Waldorf. Authorities say the boy’s parents took him to a fire station across the street. Firefighters and medics took the boy to a hospital.
Authorities say the boy is in critical condition.
