CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — The Coast Guard says it is searching for a man who was reported missing from a Liberian-flagged tanker in the Gulf of Mexico.
A news release says the tanker called the Coast Guard for help Sunday afternoon while it was about 20 miles offshore, en route to Port Aransas. The missing man is the chief engineer, a 47-year-old from Russia.
