Down with Obamacare

With the Supreme Court poised to rule on whether Obamacare was passed in defiance of the Constitution, there’s no question where the American public stands on President Obama’s centerpiece legislation. On Thursday, a New York Times/CBS News poll showed that more than two-thirds of all Americans, and more than 70 percent of independents, want the Court to strike down Obamacare’s individual mandate — its requirement that essentially every American buy government-approved health insurance under penalty of law.  In addition, the poll showed that more than half of all independents want the Court to strike down Obamacare in its entirety.

Today, Rasmussen’s polling of likely voters shows that, for the 35th consecutive time, Americans support the repeal of Obamacare by double-digits. The last time a Rasmussen poll didn’t show double-digit support for repeal was more than a year ago.
