CHICAGO (AP) — Gov. Pat Quinn says he’s “disappointed” in a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that public sector unions can’t collect fees from home health care workers who object to being affiliated with a union.
He’s vowed to continue fighting for workers, a topic that’s come up in his re-election bid. His opponent, Republican Bruce Rauner (ROW’-nur), has made fighting “government union bosses” a campaign theme.
