Trump blasts ‘Radical Left Lunatics’ in response to Facebook maintaining ban

Former President Donald Trump said Wednesday that social media giants such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google are wrong to have censored him over the past few months and should pay the price for doing so.

The angry outburst from Trump came after Facebook‘s independent Oversight Board announced Wednesday that he will remain banned from the company’s platform after his accounts on Facebook and Instagram were suspended indefinitely following his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Trump has also been banned from popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Reddit, and YouTube, which is owned by Google.

“What Facebook, Twitter, and Google have done is a total disgrace and an embarrassment to our Country,” he said in a statement Wednesday.

“Free Speech has been taken away from the President of the United States because the Radical Left Lunatics are afraid of the truth, but the truth will come out anyway, bigger and stronger than ever before,” Trump added.

The former president also restated that fraud swayed the 2020 election.

“These corrupt social media companies must pay a political price, and must never again be allowed to destroy and decimate our Electoral Process,” said Trump.
