MARQUETTE, Mich. (AP) — The state Department of Natural Resources’ research vessels are back on the water, conducting annual surveys of Great Lakes fish populations.

The DNR on Monday offered an update about the boats that have home ports in Marquette, Alpena, Charlevoix and Macomb County’s Harrison Township.
