Conservative radio host Mark Levin is accusing Hillary Clinton of paying for “a warrant” to surveil Trump campaign associate Carter Page during the 2016 presidential election.
During his Monday night appearance on Fox News, Levin also claimed Clinton colluded with the Russians.
“Hillary Clinton paid for a warrant. That’s the easiest way we can put it. Hillary Clinton colluded with the Russians. But it appears the FBI at the senior-most levels colluded with the Russians too. Whether it was witting or unwitting, it doesn’t matter. That’s a fact,” he said.
Levin then declared that Americans “have been subjected to a massive propaganda campaign and misinformation campaign” by Clinton’s campaign and the Obama administration.
Levin’s comments come days after the House Intelligence Committee released a Republican-backed memo alleging the FBI and Justice Department abused their surveillance powers by monitoring Page. The previously classified memo said the Obama administration used the now infamous Trump dossier, paid for by the Clinton campaign, to spy on Page.
“Who are they trying to protect? Hillary Clinton. Who else are they trying to protect? Barack Obama,” Levin said.
Members of the House Intelligence Committee voted this week to release the Democratic rebuttal to the GOP memo. The decision now lies with Trump over whether the memo will be released in full or in part.
