President Trump said Wednesday his daughter, Ivanka Trump, an adviser to the president at the White House, asked to come along on his trip to North Dakota by saying, “Daddy, can I go with you?”
Trump revealed his conversation with Ivanka Trump while he spoke at a tax reform event in Bismark, N.D., on Wednesday afternoon.
“By the way, Ivanka Trump, everybody loves you. Come up, honey. Should I bring Ivanka up? Sometimes they’ll say, ‘You know, he can’t be that bad a guy. Look at Ivanka,'” Trump told the crowd. “No, come on up, honey. She’s so good. She wanted to make the trip. She said, ‘Dad, can I go with you?’ She actually said, ‘Daddy, can I go with you?’ I like that, right? ‘Daddy can I go with you?’ I said, ‘Yes, you can.'”

Ivanka Trump ended up joining the president on stage.
“We love this state, so it’s always a pleasure to be back here,” she said.
