Report: Pakistani vessels at Iranian naval drill

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran’s official news agency is reporting that Pakistani naval vessels have arrived at the southern Iranian port of Bandar Abbas for an upcoming naval maneuver.

The report Sunday by IRNA quoted Iranian Rear Adm. Shahram Irani as saying the fleet will have “presence” in the maneuver that will began on Tuesday east of the strategic Strait of Hormuz, through which one fifth of the world’s oil supply passes.
