Social media platform GETTR announced Tuesday that it will feature a livestream of President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address and allow its users to comment without fear of censorship.
“GETTR will be the place to be to hear previews and analysis of Biden’s State of the Union speech, proving again that our platform is setting the standard for coverage of events as they happen,” GETTR CEO Jason Miller said.
“And naturally, our millions of GETTR users will be able to express their own opinions of Biden’s speech,” Miller added, “free from the censorship they would encounter on the Silicon Valley social media giants.”

This marks the first time the platform, launched in July 2021, will cover the address, competing with Facebook and YouTube.
Immediately following Biden’s speech, Miller will give his response in a livestream. The CEO previously served as an aide to former President Donald Trump.
