D.C. Council Chairman Vince Gray caught himself a sniffle this week.

Responding to speculation Thursday that the 67-year-old Gray was taking a break from his mayoral campaign because he was ill, his spokeswoman, Doxie McCoy said Gray “was under the weather and Tuesday … he went to see his doctor for a cold and sore throat.”
