Illinois lawmakers want new O’Hare hearings, study

CHICAGO (AP) — Three members of Congress from Illinois are calling on the Federal Aviation Administration to hold new public hearings and redo an environmental impact study of the O’Hare International Airport modernization project.

The lawmakers’ constituents are unhappy with jet noise resulting from changing flight patterns as the airfield is reconfigured.
