Nicki Minaj: Melania not a ‘queen’ like Michelle and Hillary

Pop star Nicki Minaj took a jab at Melania Trump Saturday night, saying that Donald Trump’s wife isn’t the “queen” Michelle Obama is and Hillary Clinton was as first lady.

The “Super Bass” rapper was discussing the GOP nominee and his wife at the Tidal X 1015 concert in Brooklyn when she began teasing the men in attendance for being “intimidated” by a “queen,” referring to herself.

She then busted out some political analogies to illustrate her point.

“Barack needed a Michelle, and Bill needed a motherf—king Hillary,” she said, referring to President Obama and former President Bill Clinton.

In contrast, she said, “You better pray to God you don’t get stuck with a motherf—king Melania.”

She later clarified her comments on Twitter, saying she wasn’t intentionally “dragging” Melania, but that a “smart man” must have a specific kind of partner in order to thrive in the White House.

Minaj came out in support of Hillary Clinton for president in December 2015, calling her “brave” and “a boss.”
