McConnell super PAC on the offensive with attack ads in five states

Democratic Senate contenders were under fire in five states Tuesday as the super PAC affiliated with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., hit the airwaves with a spate of attack ads.

Senate Leadership Fund announced $5.7 million worth of television, radio, and digital advertising in Indiana, Missouri, and North Dakota, three states Republicans are hoping to flip in the midterm elections to pad their 51-49 majority; and Nevada and Tennessee, where Democrats hope to swipe GOP-held seats on their way to capturing the Senate.
