SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — Republican candidate for governor Bruce Rauner (ROW’-nur) says his rival — Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn — should “come clean” on the 2010 anti-violence program that is under federal investigation.

The businessman also told reporters in Springfield Friday that a legislative investigation of the Neighborhood Recovery Initiative should continue despite a Justice Department request to stop. The Legislative Audit Commission will decide next week whether to proceed.
