Disclosure statements filed with the Illinois State Board of Elections this week show numerous $150,000 donations from several CEOs to the political action committee Chicago Forward.

They include Citadel Investment Group’s Ken Griffin, Groupon’s Eric Lefkofsky, and Samuel Mencoff of Madison Dearborn Partners.

Chicago Forward was formed late last month by Rebecca Carroll, former chief communications officer for Chicago Public Schools.
