Sen. John McCain said Sunday that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov “had no business in the Oval Office” with the president.
The Arizona Republican discussed the visit between President Trump and Lavrov with “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace.
Lavrov is “nothing but a propagandist” and a “stooge of a thug and a murderer,” namely Russian President Vladimir Putin, said McCain.
The senator reminded Wallace that Russian precision weapons were used in air strikes against hospitals in Aleppo in support of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
