Crash test dummies get a rest at Smithsonian

Vince and Larry, the famous dummies used for 25 years in test crashes for public service television ads, are finally getting a break from head-banging collisions.

The dummies headed to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History on Wednesday as part of a donation from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
