GOOD HOPE, Ill. (AP) — A western Illinois man has died after he was thrown from his tractor during a traffic accident.

Police in McDonough County say 86-year-old Robert Goodpasture of Good Hope died in the Tuesday crash. Police say he was driving a utility tractor and pulling a rotary hay rake near U.S. 67 at the time. They say another vehicle struck the hay rake, causing the tractor to swerve and sending Goodpasture off the tractor.
