Fairfax County police are offering to fingerprint kids for free.
The authorities are offering to provide parents with a photo and a fingerprint set of their child — documents that could help identify them should they go missing.
The service will be available today until 4 p.m. at the Dulles Day Festival at Washington Dulles International Airport
in Chantilly, Va.
Four more fingerprinting opportunities will be offered in October.
